We're excited to announce a new web address for Jerry. To help simplify things for folks who don't know how to spell Jerry's last name, you can now go to www.jerrycountry.com and access all the same great music and updates for Jerry and North Country! We hope this will make it easier to remember, and also a better way for you to send your friends to Jerry's website! JerrySchickling.com will still be working, but now there's two addresses for people to use.
Also, due to an emergency, Jerry and North Country will be performing Saturday Sept. 16 at the Red Bank Peanut Butter Festival in New Bethlehem, Pa. You can go to the SHOW DATES link at the top for details.

It's been a busy summer season for Jerry and North Country! The Clearfield County Fair was awesome! Then Jerry and Mark were in Ontario, Canada for 2 benefit concerts the following weekend. As a result of the trip to Canada, a promotion/distribution firm, Microstar, has contacted Jerry to sign him to their artist roster. The deal is in the works!
Then Jerry and North Country performed for the first time at the Ringgold Firemen's Festival and had a truly wonderful time!
After a live radio performance/interview on 105.9 "Joe" FM today, Jerry and the band will be at the Centre County Grange Fair on Thursday, August 31! Hope to see y'all at the fair!!!!

It's only a few days until the Concert In The Park show this coming
Sunday (July 23) at 7:00 pm at Lower Witmer Park in Clearfield. It's going to be
about an hour show, and will be a preview of Jerry's show at the Clearfield County Fair
coming the following week.
The weather looks great, so bring your lawn chairs and enjoy some good ol' country
music along the banks of the West Branch Susquehanna River!

Thursday May 18, Jerry and North Country will be doing a live rehearsal for the upcoming Country Jamin' The Valley Memorial Day concert at Over The Mountain in Rockton. Murph & Turk will be doing an awesome set to open the evening, starting around 7:00 pm, then Jerry and NC will kick in a set around 9:00 pm.
It's all FREE ~ Come enjoy the fun!

Always Country has been a great supporter of Jerry's, and they'll be broadcasting

They've been taking the local music scene by storm the past few years as "Murph and Turk", and are extremely talented musicians/singers!
They bring a great sound to the band, and we're sure you're going to love the "new and improved" North Country!

WOW! Once again the CAST show was a big success! We want to thank everyone who came out for the evening.
Jerry surprised (and excited) the crowd with his announcement that he's in the process of booking a tour for our Military troops overseas!
Mark and Brenda have also volunteered to go.
The process is in the beginning stages, so check back, or even better, sign up on the email list, for updates!

Jerry's drummer "Wild" Bill Kohut is on the mend from his broken ankle, and North Country is back in the rehearsal studio! They'll be back for bigger and better shows this summer (more changes yet to come), so stay tuned............

Jerry's first release on the Lone Pine Records label "It's A Good Thing" was released last week to over 600 radio stations world wide!
The song is being promoted by Nashville promoter Mark Trail.

Jerry's song "It's A Good Thing" recently climbed to #5 on the RRadio network's internet radio download site! It broke into the Top 10 list at #7, worked its way up to #6, and now has hit #5!

Jerry will be heading back to Nashville sometime early this year. He'll be teaming up with songwriter/producer Tom Paden ( Paden Place Music )to record his first full-length CD. Tom's impressive resume' and experience in the Nashville music scene is incredible, and we know the new CD will be the best yet!!

We had a great time on New Years Eve at Over The Mountain! The guys and gals from
North Country were on top of their game!
It was a really fun time, and a great way to ring in the New Year!

Radio release update:
There has been a slight change of plans that I had previously announced last week.
After discussing some details with my Nashville releasing agent, we've made the
decision to re-release "It's A Good Thing" instead of "I Wonder If She Thinks Of
Me". It will be released on my new record label Lone Pine Records. It will
definately get more attention and airplay working with the new promoter than it did
before. I'll keep you updated.

There's lot's of things being planned for 2006, so stay tuned for the new show dates
and other exciting announcements!!!
