Jerry's song "It's A Good Thing" recently climbed to #5 on the RRadio network's internet radio download site! It broke into the Top 10 list at #7, worked its way up to #6, and now has hit #5!

Jerry will be heading back to Nashville sometime early this year. He'll be teaming up with songwriter/producer Tom Paden ( Paden Place Music )to record his first full-length CD. Tom's impressive resume' and experience in the Nashville music scene is incredible, and we know the new CD will be the best yet!!

We had a great time on New Years Eve at Over The Mountain! The guys and gals from
North Country were on top of their game!
It was a really fun time, and a great way to ring in the New Year!

Radio release update:
There has been a slight change of plans that I had previously announced last week.
After discussing some details with my Nashville releasing agent, we've made the
decision to re-release "It's A Good Thing" instead of "I Wonder If She Thinks Of
Me". It will be released on my new record label Lone Pine Records. It will
definately get more attention and airplay working with the new promoter than it did
before. I'll keep you updated.

There's lot's of things being planned for 2006, so stay tuned for the new show dates
and other exciting announcements!!!

With a little over a week to go 'til the fair show, we had a great rehearsal session last night, bringing all the new members together for the first time. Having Mark and Steve Feldbauer there just brings the bands sound home!
If you've heard us before, you won't believe what you're going to hear now - the show at the Clearfield County Fair on July 31 is going to be awesome!

I'm very excited to announce that Steve Feldbauer, from DuBois, has agreed to become
a member of North Country!!
Steve brings a plethora (isn't that a BIG word for a redneck!!) of musical talent to
the band!
Along with his guitar, mandolin, and vocal abilities, Steve can play some fiddle and
banjo. And to add to that mix, he's an awesome songwriter to boot!! Look for some of
Steve's music to be played at our live shows, and don't be surprised if you hear it
on some of our future recordings! We'll have Steve's bio posted on the website soon.
I'd like to say that the upcoming shows at the Clearfield County Fair are going to
be the best yet! If you like what you've heard in the past, you won't believe the
sound we have now that Mark Kos and Steve Feldbauer have joined the band! YOU DON'T
WANT TO MISS IT!!!
Also, Brenda will be joining Bill and I at Gunner's Inn on Saturday night. It will
be a lot of fun, so hope lot's of you can make it!

Jerry is excited to announce that Mark Kos of Sykesville has joined the band as the new lead guitar player!

We hope y'all come out to Ridgway on June 25th for the show at the Independence Celebration!
There will be lots of events all day, the weather looks great, and we'll hit the stage at 7:00 p.m.

Jerry will be heading up a day of music at Lower Witmer Park during the Chrome At The Dome weekend on Saturday June 11. Check back for other acts and times for the shows!

Things are coming together for the debut of North Country with Jerry at Over The Mountain on June 3rd! It should be a great show!
Also, Jerry will be a celebrity judge for the finals of 97.5 The Hound's "Hound Country Star" contest on June 18th!

Jerry will be sitting in with Charlie McBride (The Hound 97.5 FM) during her all request lunch time hour on Friday, May 20, from noon to 1 p.m. They'll be talking about, as well as playing, the new songs. Tune in if you can - it should be fun!

We're very excited to announce that "Wild" Bill Kohut will be joining us as our new drummer/percussionist, and Brenda Weber will be joining us a a vocalist/background singer!
Bio's will be posted soon for both of them, and we know this will bring our sound full circle!

Well, here it is. The name of Jerry's newly formed band is "North Country". While reading the new authorized biography of Johnny Cash - "The Man Called Cash" - Jerry caught the title of a song that happened as a result of a Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan jam session that was on Dylan's "Nashville Skyline" album titled "Girls From The North Country". The words North Country jumped off the page at him, and there you have it!

We've just added a date to do a free outdoor show in Clearfield. We'll be at the Lower Witmer Park gazeebo on June 26th at 7:00 p.m.
Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy!
